Title: Just Don’t Die
Author: Amy of Amelia From A Fairy Tale
Category: Young Justice (cartoon), some YJ: Invasion eventually included
Rating: PG/K+ (this part, at least)
Premise: Because Dick told Tim, “Just don’t die.”
Preview for yet another fic on which I’m working. This one was brought on partially from the above quote from Dick, and partially from the fact that this episode aired the day after Jason Todd’s death day.

Title: Red Is a Pretty Awesome Color
Author: Amy of Amelia From A Fairy Tale
Category: Young Justice: Invasion
Rating: PG-13/T (language and mentions of drug abuse)
Premise: batchink’s headcannon (hey, I told you I would write it) and the fact that Roy’s apartment is the same place Jason and Bats had their showdown in Under the Red Hood lead me to come to conclusions.
The following is a preview to one of my many latest projects.
Title: So…What Now?
Author: Amy of Amelia From A Fairy Tale
Category: Young Justice: Invasion
Rating: PG/K+
Premise: So, Roy’s not only got Lian, he’s also found the “real Roy.” What’s he supposed to do now? Letting his friends know would be nice.
Because really, Roy, how long can you keep that child a secret. SHOULD HAVE LEFT LIAN WITH ARTEMIS, INDEED. Also, this is another snippet :)
“Are you insane?” Roy yelps. “We can’t take a baby on a rescue mission!”
“We can and we will.” Jade replies, implacable. “Lian’s spent her entire life coming with me everywhere I go. She knows when to be quiet.”
“It’s- that’s not- let’s leave her with Artemis!”
“We can’t.”
“Why not?”
“Because,” Jade says, with an iciness that tells him she’s coming very close to throwing something sharp and most likely poisoned in his direction, “Artemis can’t know about Lian. Artemis and that speedster of hers live together. If she knows, he knows, and I will not trust our daughter’s life to that moron’s ability to keep his mouth shut. Additionally,” she adds when he looks like he’s going to interrupt, “Sportsmaster is at large. He’ll be keeping a close eye on Artemis. He’ll be keeping a close eye on our mother. He probably won’t move against them, but there’s nothing to keep him from going to Ra’s al Ghul himself and telling him about Lian. I’m already walking a razor thin line.” she hisses.
For the first time, Roy really looks at his wife. She hides it well, but he’s learned the signs; the tension in her shoulders, the expression in her eyes, the set of her mouth. Jade is exhausted, and… frightened. Goosebumps rise on his arms. Lian runs her hands over them, giggling.
“No one can know about Lian.” Jade tells him, eyes softening as she looks at their daughter. “It’s too dangerous for her. I will not have our daughter targeted by- or raised in- the Shadows.”
Roy hears what she’s not saying: I will not have my daughter raised as I was.
He sighs. “All right, Chesh. If you really think we can keep her safe-“
“You’d never have met her if I didn’t.”
Fic a Day Challenge.
Monday - Babs consoles Dick after Artemis “dies”
For ForeverJoyous
Title: The Lines We Cast
Author: Me
Verse: Young Justice: Invasion
Pairing: Dick/Babs
fandom: young justice
characters, relationships: Dick, Wally, mentions of Artemis. Canon Spitfire mentioned. Dick/Wally friendship.
summary: Sometimes there’s no one else you can turn to but your best friend. Takes place a few days after “Depths.”
rating: K+
word count: ~ 1.2k
notes: I am an awful, terrible person that enjoys watching her readers suffer. (Consider that your warning.) Title comes from the song I had on repeat while writing this.Normally Dick doesn’t care where he is—a bed and a bed and sleep is sleep. But given everything that’s happened in the past few days, what with Artemis and her… mission, and everything surrounding that—sleep isn’t coming easily. He thought getting out of the cave, where everyone’s somber eyes and set jaws made the atmosphere comparable to an ICU ward, would help. The Batcave was out of the question—Alfred would only ask questions, none of which Dick wanted to answer.
